Federal cloud transition will save $5 billion yearly, CIO says
Federal Chief Information Officer Vivek Kundra stated that the Government can save $5 billion dollar annually by moving about one-fourth of the government's $80 billion information technology enterprise to the cloud. This move is part of Kundra's 25-point plan revealed to the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee.
