From Ascgroup
SeeSOR is a collaborative contract monitoring tool for clients who wish to attain higher quality contracts and achieve sustainable savings. SeeSOR combines quality control and quality assurance in a single software application accessible by both the client and its service providers. By collaborating on the same software tool, sharing controlled access to data and using the same terminology, a stronger mutual understanding of the technical requirements is reached. Better communication means lower costs and a better quality result. SeeSOR automates inspection scheduling, performance monitoring, performance metrics and trends, and all other back office functions.
With the outsourcing of services comes the hope of cost savings and the anxiety that those services will be performed at levels maintaining or raising current standards. Those contracts with the performance of high risk or critical activities, such as those where safety and reliability are key to the core function of the contract, this becomes even more imperative. While all outsourcing contracts are entered into with high expectations, the results are often mixed, if not negative. Due to the long nature of the contracts, staff changes during the life of the contract and the evolving set of requirements inherent in any modern day business, quality measurement of the services delivered is difficult. Most organizations lack a systematic approach and toolset for monitoring contractor performance in the post-award phase.
ASC Group advocates use of both a management process and toolset designed to collaboratively manage large service contracts. The management process puts a premium on accurately measuring a contractor’s performance against pre-agreed criteria and then resolving performance issues on a timely basis. The toolset should be a central repository of services to be provided, delivery expectations and inspected results. Best results are achieved when the tool is used by both the contracting organization and the contractor, to document performance trends and resolve any issues regarding contractor performance.
SeeSOR Benefits
SeeSOR fulfills user needs to monitor quality. Customers and service providers design their QA and QC plans in SeeSOR to meet the contract‘s technical requirements. SeeSOR, in turn, handles inspection scheduling, performance monitoring, and all other back office functions of the quality program. SeeSOR can also serve as a perfect complement to TF!. Both share the contract technical requirements while servicing different phases of the contract life cycle. The benefits of this collaborative approach are:
• Get what you are paying for: contract compliance that ties contract deliverables to inspected results

• Provides institutional knowledge of vendor performance regardless of length of the contract
