From Ascgroup
Normally, we advise our clients to install all Microsoft Updates and keep their system current in order to prevent security risks. SeeSOR.NET uses .NET v2.0, and we routinely evaluate new .NET 2.0 updates to make sure that it does not break SeeSOR.NET. Unless you hear from ASC informing you NOT to apply any update specifically, I would recommend you to keep applying updates.
Having said that, we apply these updates on our servers as soon as they are available and test our application. It takes some time to reverify our application against any Microsoft .NET updates. I am suggesting you to hold off on applying any update (to .NET in particular) THAT IS NOT MARKED CRITICAL by Microsoft for a week. That way, if any NON-CRITICAL update causes any break in the application, we will definitely inform you not to apply those updates. Of course, if any CRITICAL update breaks our application, we will fix our application and release a patch, since the update takes more precedence. So please apply all CRITICAL updates.
