How visible are changes to data in the TF! software?

In version 3 of the TF!© software, some functionality was added to identify at the cost category and section level where data may have changed. The identification of specific changes was based on the user identifying where the specific changes were made which could be validated through a side-by-side comparison of the before and after change files. Version 4 which is currently under development is adding greater functionality to identify specific data entry changes.
