Average Resolution Time

The Average Resolution Time is the average time to resolve a Corrective Action (CA) on the left y-axis scale (associated with the filled area plot) and the Number of CAs on the right y-axis. This time is calculated only using Closed CAs as of the date indicated on the x-axis. Therefore, this chart should be looked at considering the currently open Corrective Actions.

In addition to indicating the Average time to resolve the closed CAs indicated and the number of CAs created and open over a date range, there is a smoothing function option that allows the smoothing of peak Average Resolution Time based on a moving average. Setting the moving average to zero nullifies the moving average feature. The data range and smoothing function is configured in personal Preferences associated with the project.

Click "more-->" in the lower right corner to proceed to the full function Average Resolution Time.
