Install a SQL Server Database in the SeeSOR.NET Enterprise and Assign Administrators

• First insure that you have created a SeeSOR SQL Server database and established the SQL Server name or instance name.

• Log into SeeSOR.NET as an Enterprise Manager (call ASC Group for username and password).

• Select the “Contract Manager” pull-down from the Admin Console.

• Select the "Import Contract" option.

• Complete the information including SQL Server Name and Database Name

• Enter the Username of the Admin application user and password (contact ASC Group).

• Deselect the option "Import users from contract database".

• Select “Next” to proceed to the next screen.

• If Users have already been created in the Enterprise assign SeeSOR administrators by clicking “Assign administrators”.

• If Users have not been created refer to the support topic “Create Users in the Enterprise”.

• Add “Users” to the “Contract Administrators” Column.
  

• When complete click “Submit Changes”.
  

• The selected users will then not need privileges to be assigned since they will automatically have “All” privileges.
  

• The configured administrators will now have this contact added to the list of contracts on the “User Console” “Select Contract” page.
  

• These administrators will have access to the “Administration Tasks” function.
  

• From the “Administration Tasks” function additional users can be added to the contract and specific privileges can be assigned.

• Refer to the “Assign Users to a Contract and Set Privileges” support topic.

Best Information Assurance practice suggest the periodic changing of the database passwords. You can set the frequency you want to change passwords. The password is randomly generated and can be between 15 and 20 characters in length.
