Once a user is added to the Enterprise they are added to one or more contracts/projects and privileges assigned based on the role they serve with each contract/project. When an users service is no longer required on a contract they can be removed from that contract (see Add Users to a Contract and Set Privileges). When a user is no longer assigned to any contract/project the should be removed from the Enterprise. There are two ways to remove a user from the Enterprise:
1. Delete the User
2. Inactivate the User
Delete the user: When a user is deleted they will automatically be removed from all contracts/projects to which they have been assigned. The User Name can no longer be used or re-assigned to anyone else.
Delete user by clicking the Delete button.
Inactive users: When a user is inactivated they will remain assigned to all contracts/projects and all privileges will remain intact, however, thier login will no longer work. An inactive user can be reactivated. Once reactivated they will immediately be reinstated to all contracts/projects they were assigned with all previously assigned privileges.
Inactivate users by un-clicking the Active box.
Only active users are required to have a SeeSOR.NET license.
In the User Manager display Deleted users are indicated in RED and inactive users are grayed.
Unless "Include Inactive Users" and "Include Deleted Users" boxes are selected only Active users will be displayed.
